Preconstruction planning and estimating
We like to get involved early — during the programming phase — and help clients make schedule- and budget-conscious decisions: building orientation, floor plans, infrastructure, square footage, material selections, building height and foundation systems.
Knowing how and why each building element is built pays real dividends on the overall project. We tailor preconstruction to each client, add practical value for the architect’s design team, and translate your goals to our subcontractors so their bids meet every expectation.

Explorer Construction has delivered at-risk general contracting since 2002. Our record in the hard-bid market reflects current knowledge of market conditions and long relationships with local trades — which is how we secure quality work at competitive pricing.
We work with clients, architects, engineers and trade contractors to represent the owner’s interests from start to finish.

Self-perform crews
Self-performing key trades is how we protect budget, schedule and quality. Our own crews handle survey layout, CAD support, concrete, rough framing, drywall, taping, painting, acoustical ceilings (ACT), demolition and clean-up.
